The Alocasia 'Black Velvet' has deep black foliage with a velvet touch and white veins running along its leaf. They require bright indirect sunlight, growing best in humid conditions. Water only when the top 2-3 cm of soil has dried out and fertilise regularly during spring. Found originally in the jungles of Borneo.
