Variegated Alpinia Zerumbet, commonly known as Variegated Shell Ginger, is a perennial species of ginger native to East Asia. They make popular houseplants due to their beautiful variegated leaves. They can grow up to 8 to 10 ft tall and bear colourful funnel-shaped flowers.
